Every successful project starts with a plan. Before a single line of code is written, we’ll first discuss your main objectives (eg E-commerce, Blog, etc) and determine your target audience (customers).
Next we’ll begin work on a sitemap (a tree structure of your site’s pages), basic page layout (wireframe) and content so that we can determine the budget.
First I collect any existing branding or colour schemes you may have and want to reuse. Then I ask for a list of websites of which you like the look and/or feel to get an idea of your desired style.
Considering this information I’ll begin creating static visuals of your site using Photoshop and Illustrator, sending them to you as PDFs for your approval.
Once you’re happy and have approved the designs, I’ll create your site using technology best suited to your requirements. I hand-code using Responsive HTML5, CSS, jQuery, and PHP all wrapped up in a custom WordPress theme.
I provide you with a developer link to view your site and we can make tweaks or changes until you are completely satisfied. Then we “go live” with your site.
Keep an eye on things with Google Analytics & Web Master Tools – monitor how your customers are interacting with your site and make adjustments.
